Its most likely that you don't have the proper video codec. Grab and install the Defiler Pack and it should fix you right up. If not, let us know.
I have to run out for dinner with the family, but I will return after to explain the specifics if neccessary.

Re: MY precious
Now my friends, I have the XT's counterpart: the GeForce FX 5900 256! MWA HA! I will soon be creaming over my screen, so steer clear. Ohh snap, but the upcomming FX 5950 is the true counterpart (or arch-nemisis if you will) to the 9800XT. Also, it is unlikely, but not unpossible, that we'll see any ...

I agree that the GeForce's suck ass... I have a GeForce4 MX 440.... My AMD will sometimes slow to a snail's pace... and crash... Where as the P4 wouldn't do that. Actually, the Geforce4MX series sucks worse than any other and exists only as a devious marketing ploy by Nvidia. The geforce4mx series ...

I agree with Jack, I've heard the Geforce's suck at DX9 effects.. Praticularly in the Half-Life 2's Source Engine; which will probably end up powering about one third of all the FPS games we play over the next 3 to 5 years. That was the big reason I personally choose a Radeon over the FX series. As ...

Pro is simply clocked higher and is coupled with faster RAM. The different between the chips isn't physical - its just set up differently in the bios [edit: Video card bios, not Motherboard bios]. The XT is a physically different chip - slightly reworked to be cooler. It is also clocked higher still ...

Radeon 9800 vs Radeon 9600... Any help understanding all this would be appreciated. I second what has been said here. Don't go to Athlon64 yet.. Especially with the Athlon 'Newcastle' set to hit the market in Q1 next year. The Newcastle to the AMD64 is like the Celeron to the Pentium.. Same chip but with half the L2 cache. This makes the chip much much cheaper - and still have very ...

...he has a wang the size of a piece of string. I question the quality of the quoted insult.. I mean, there are some pretty Long pieces of string.. Such as the piece used to make the World largest ball of twine, which resides just 50mi North-West of Lindsborg, Kansas (in Cawker City, Kansas). http ...
