The Wii as we all know has launched. There is a few games that got some pretty awesome reviews. People that aren't very interested in some of the games out now, may find solace in a few of the games to be released soon. In a recent interview with MTV, Reggie had confirmed that the next big Nintendo release would in fact be Metroid Prime 3 and then in between March of 07 and December 07 we will see Super Mario Galaxy. Then he stated that Nintendo may soon be packaging the Nunchuk attachment with the Wii-mote, those of you who have seen it know that as of right now they are sold separately.
Those of you waiting for the sweet release of those old games we all love need not to fret. According to Nintendo Classic games on the Wii's Virtual Console will come will be released every Monday, you can expect about one to five games at every release. What I'm waiting for the most are the TMNT games and possible one of my all time favorite SNES game Killer Instinct. I remember spending hours fighting through the characters and then finally beating the shit out of Eyedol [Idol] (I have seen it both ways) With an Ultra Combo.
Nintendo has also said that you can expect to play online in early 07, I'd like to know if it will compare to XBL, but I think the immediate answer will be of course "NO" but its nice to think otherwise. Maybe we will all be surprised. I'm going to get my Wii in January. I think around that time it will be readily available, and I will be able to pick one up with no Hassle. What I will be picking up very soon is going to be a DS Lite. I've pretty much been sold on the fact that Final Fantasy III is out, and I'd really like to play it. Among others of course are Mario Kart DS and a Chocobo RPG.
