Proving the undeniable existence of God, footage has been released for Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, the next official title in the MGS franchise, hitting sometime next year for current-gen systems. Now, this isn’t Metal Gear Solid 5 or Revengeance or some PS Vita game but supposedly a prologue to MGS5. Check out 14 minutes of shaky cam cutscenes and very little gameplay for the next “actual” Metal Gear game, entitled Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Yes, there is more than one Ground Zero. Apparently.
We’ve heard (read) reports that suggest you’ll play as Big Boss from MGS3 and be able to call in a helicopter whenever you want. Also, check out that real-time jeep reversal gameplay!
For a while now, Hideo Kojima’s been working on the Fox Engine, a brand-new super-powered foundation for all of Kojima’s upcoming games as well as Project Ogre, which he assures is not Ground Zeroes.
Ground Zeroes will come out in 2013. Maybe?
