So yeah a lot of the bands I like are coming near me and I wanna go see em. Anyone else going to be around that wants to go?

There's been a serious drought for me lately in shows that I want to go to. It's not that I don't love going to shows, but lately, there just hasn't been any that I want to go to. Haven't been to a show for like 2 or 3 months! Fortunately, there's a few upcoming ones that I want to go to. Looks like Mars Volta is playing with A Perfect Circle. I don't know if I'll go though because I already saw Mars Volta last year and I don't care much for A Perfect Circle (I'm not saying they're bad). But here's what I really want to go to so far...

I really want to go see The Unicorns tonight but they're playing at the Replay Lounge, which is only 21 and over. I'm dying to see the Wrens, but they're not coming around here. I'm also dying to go to the Coachella Festival in May to go see the Pixies reunite. So far, 2004 looks pretty bleak. I'll post later all the shows I went to in 2003 and you'll be able to see the comparison.

These are only the shows that I had the tickets for. There's probably a bunch more that I went to that I just paid at the door. So, in 2003 I went to 20+ shows. So far in 2004 I've been to 0. Hopefully that will change.

I used to be big into pop punk, ska punk, and whatnot and I went to a few pop punk shows last year. But lately I've been getting into alot of indie, indie pop, dance punk, art punk, post punk, expiramental and even some spazcore and hardcore. Really though, I just listen to whatever I like.

man we went to some damn good shows. we need to start that again. it was fun going to those shows. too bad we totally missed like almost all of the rooney show.

and remember when we couldn't see cursive and the blood brothers. it still makes me want to cry.

all the bands i like are like "no....we are eitehr not touring because we are recording..." OR "no....we don't want to come to the US" and even if they did....i probably would not go.....because im sleepy....

I'm so pissed that I missed the Built To Spill show last year. I think it was their last tour ever; my last chance to ever see them live. Ya, and I wanted to go see Blood Brothers so bad. I went to some pretty crappy shows last year and some pretty awesome ones. I wish I could've traded the crappy ones for Built To Spill and Blood Brothers.
