Just thought this was a little interesting... If you're in the Gamer Advisory Panel (G.A.P), you'll notice that there's a poll in the main G.A.P page that says:

"Choose which XMB™ (Cross Media Bar) feature would be most important to you in a possible PLAYSTATION®Network update."

The options were:

"In-game access to PSN messaging: 41% (915 votes) "

-

"Ability to play my own music from the XMB while in-game: 55% (1209 votes)"

-

"Larger buddy list and buddy-list features such as categorizing: 4% (90 votes)"

all right, so some of you may know that EVERYbody (including me) has been bitching for a way to play music and/or have access to the XMB while in game, and clearly sony knows that just by making that poll... WHY THE FUCK ARE THEY TAKING THEIR SWEET ASS TIME TO ADD THE FEATURE, WHEN THEY KNOW THAT IT'S WHAT EVERYONE HAS BEEN BEGGING FOR, AND IT'S RECEIVED THE HIGHEST AMOUNT OF VOTES! STOP TOYING WITH US SONY!!!!!

If anyone else here is in the G.A.P, vote vote vote!!! I really want to see this shit happen

, I'm tired of listening to Resistance's (and every EA game's ) crappy ass music.

People actually like that feature? I never use that on my 360.

I would like to have the option to get rid of crappy game music in favor of my own, yes.

Wouldn't it be fun to be playing Warhawk and listen to an episode of the game show at the same time???

I never use that feature either, because sound in games I play is often so useful, even if the sound track isn't that great. Footsteps, gunfire, radio communications, etc.

not all games let you turn down the sound of the music. and besides, it's just not the same : (. What if I'm laying in bed fragging someone online. I don't want to get up and walk to my PC to change the song all the time.
