Just started playing it Break, and I've got to say, the graphics more than make up for it... I'm drooling.

Ok, so I finally finished Lost Odyssey's first disc and the console ejected it and this is what it fucking looked like:


HAS ANYONE HEARD OF THIS ISSUE?!

Its got white shit all over it and the center ring looks melted (although the melting is hard to see in the picture.) I don't want the 360 to do this to all my games as I might not be so lucky next time with it being playable.

Ok, so know that this game was fine and went directly from the brand new box to the goddamn console. I called Microsoft and IT IS AGAINST POLICY FOR ME TO SEND THIS PICTURE TO THEM IN ANY WAY. I have to wait for the box and PHYSICALLY MAIL THE SYSTEM AND THE FUCKING GAME DISC TO THEM! They told me absolutely not to turn on the system again as it may be a fire hazard.

I FINALLY GOT A GAME FOR THE SYSTEM THAT I LOVED AND NOW NO MORE PLAYING FOR (estimated by them) FOUR MOTHERFUCKING WEEKS! Why do I hate this system? I can't remember. Honestly, please give me a reason not to like it, cuz I don't have one.

I'd imagine the melted white stuff is some kind of coating that was on the LO disc, as mine seems to have something that feels rather slip resistant on the surface that can be wiped off.

I've had that white stuff show up on a few CDs I've owned in the past myself actually. Never to THAT extent. The biggest spot I've seen was a little bigger than dime-sized I'd say. Never a whole lot. I just ignored it most of the time since it only happened like once or twice and it was always after I found my sister was stealing my things, so I didn't care.

I've had a hell of a time with Microsoft tech support. I called today to verify and their notes had NOTHING except that my CONSOLE had melted. I had to rexplain everything that took 2 hours to explain last night, and tell them every game I've ever played for the 360. Last night I had to tell them exactly what my wife was doing the night it broke. Seriously. I also recorded part of it and will play some of it either tomorrow at 7:00 Central on the game show or next show on March 15th.

The guy told me that they would replace my console and disc (only since it was a MS published game, otherwise I'd be out of luck) IF the 360 was ruled to be the cause. Since the game went directly to the system and it got ruined inside the system I asked what else could cause it and he said that the console did it and that they would replace it and the disc. Lets see if they stick to their word. Still, I'm without a console for a month. And I was just really getting into the game.

If it was I have to wait 4 weeks to find out since I can't just send in the picture. That's against Microsoft's policy.

Either way, its a defective Microsoft product with the worst customer service on the planet.
