Lost Odyssey comes out today...oh man I can't wait to play...what? WHat the fuck is this.....WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS!?

MS CAN'T AFFORD 10 more cents TO GIVE US A BETTER PACKAGE? WHY IS MY 4th DISC IN A FUCKING SLEEVE!?

Yeah, Microsoft needs to be fucking taken down. You know those shows/anime where an evil empire controls the world and the heroes must fight back? Well Microsoft right now is the beginning of that company. They already own most of the computer industry and have tried to take over the video game console market. If they succeeded and they became powerful, then "You think games, you think Microsoft" weither it be PC or console. They tried to purchase Yahoo in an attempt to enter into the internet game and try to take Google. Why? So if you want to go on the internet you are surrounded by Microsoft. The machine you are using, the browser you are using, and all the ads/pop-ups/etc. on the internet. They are going to attempt to take out apple's i-pod so that "When you think music, you think Microsoft." They want your options of mp3 players to be their handheld device or Windows media player.

Soon, they will merge with EA and completely fuck over gamers. The sad part? People will STILL follow them blind and STILL claim that theirs is the best console. Fucking sheep, blindly following whatever they previously believed without so much as a second thought. These are the type of people that will hear their parents make racist comments then grow up to be racist themselves. These are the type of people that will see a propoganda poster and believe it. These are the type of people who blindly follow tradition, regardless of what the tradition is, simply because they are used to doing it. (Note the lyrics from Weird Al's song Weasel Stomping Day: "It's tradition so that makes it okay.")

Ever since I have been on this board, I have been surrounded by facts that I probably wouldn't have been aware of otherwise. These facts are giving me new found respect for companies and making me lose respect for others. Before reading Breakman's entry on the front page I would have said that Nintendo > Sega by far, however, upon reading about the Sega Channel I have new respect for Sega. They not only accomplished what Nintendo failed at, but they made it better than what Nintendo would have had. (talking about online) Upon hearing all this stuff about Microsoft recently, I must say that for this current generation Sony now has more of my respect than Microsoft does.

I have a Idea. Why Don't we Get like a shit ton of Gamers to Call MS and give them Soooo much Shit for Fucking over Gamers. Like if we can get about 1,000,000 gamers to called MS on the same day at the same time maybe there will final listing to us gamers.

...sooo... who the hell cares if it comes in a sleeve? I bought UT3 and Oblivion used and both in plain clear ps3 plastic packaging. And for LO, it's only one disk that's in a sleeve. I guess if you want it to be aesthetically pleasing while it sits there on your shelf, you might give a fuck about it, but I mean c'mon, it's not like that one disk is taped on the front of the box. I could care less about how sexy the box looks.

But yeah, I mean M$ makes you buy a 100% failure rate system, and they can't even make the box look sexy!

I think Mecha might've been less pissed off if the PAL case didn't look smexy Whilst the non-PAL version looks like it was designed by a hobo with that sleeve just sitting in there.

That's really just kind of a blatant "fuck you" on Microsoft's part.

Do you remember the whole debacle with the Halo 3 super awesome special edition and how the discs popped around and many got ruined? That is the reason this bothered me. Sure I like nice cases, but not enough to let that part of it irritate me. Having several discs squashed together in a normal case (yes its just a normal case) and having another just tossed in there in a sleeve is a little iffy on the whole bouncing around issue. It also looks really unprofessional and half-assed, especially compared to the other region's releases.

It was published by Microsoft in ALL regions. They just decided to go with cheap packaging for the US release. People are speculating that they're left over Blue Dragon cases that were never shipped due to poor sales. Apparently according to PAL gamers, they're starting to use a normal DVD case for the PAL version as well. Sucks.

I just canceled my super delayed Amazon Lost Odyssey order and went and got myself a copy. I'm about to open it!

I opened my copy of LO and sure enough, 2 discs were loose in the case and not properly snapped in the CD holder. However, since the case is packed tight with stuff, the discs didn't seem to move at all so there are no scratches. I guess I just got lucky.
