not to mention playstation home is so close. i've noticed more and more people in my school with Ps3's recently, seems like the price drop has been helping.

I'm not really anticipating anything at the moment, I'm afraid. I think I'm all burnt out with Assasin's Creed, Mass Effect, and COD4 all coming out at once. For a while longer I'll be too busy to think of the future.
Alone in the Dark looks amazing. All the Macgyver-esque combos of items and how they react with the environment and enemies, it's just too delicious. If you haven't seen the videos you need to.
Prototype mixes a little Spiderman and Hulk with a bit of GTA. Games of these types are hit-and-miss, and lack depth usually, but Prototype seems like it might be a satisfying melding of building-climbing and tank-jacking. The speed and fluidity of it are impressive, and the animation of the cellular assimilation of fallen foes and innocents borders on a bit unsettling. In a good way.
