I don't know why a lot of people hated POP2. Sure it was a completely different style, but I really dug the dark atmosphere (as played out as it's getting to be in this day and age of gaming) and the heavy metal music. I still loved 1 and 3 though. Although you have to admit the Dark prince sequences in 3 were just annoying as hell.
The more I see this new one though the more interested I get. I just don't get why they would call it "Prince of Persia" when the guy isn't even the prince (at least for now).

On Michael Bay's official website, he has removed the name, and is just calling it "Transformers 2".
So it looks like the "revenge" part could have been just a publicity stunt to hype up the movie.
I would not expect any kind of trailer until at least christmast, but I still better see one.
