The Dark Knight

Post by Atticus »

I'm just curious cause I went and saw it last night and I almost wet myself. I know almost everyone here is probably going to see it this weekend, so let's here likes/dislikes on it.

But no matter what your opinion is, it fucking rocked. I only got to see it in a regular theater, even though it was a DLP projection, I can't wait to go back next weekend and catch it in Imax.

:D

R.I.P. Heath Ledger. His Joker is hands down, the best adaptation of a comic book villain that I've ever seen on the big screen to date. It's worthy of an oscar and he better at least get nominated.

It was without a doubt one of the most amaznig movies I've EVER fucking seen. I had HIGH expectations for this movie.

...the movie surpassed them...tremendously. And Heath Ledger had a hell of a final performance.

The movie really does have everything though. It has humor, drama, action, adventure, eye candy, a great cast, and a lovely soundtrack.

My favorite moments in the movie are probably the entire incident that this line preludes to...and... Just one word..."yeah"

I can't wait to see it in Imax on Saturday. 4 scenes were actually shot using imax technology, a first for a major motion picture. The blu-ray will actually have imax aspect ratios, I'm fucking giddy.

Oh, and if you do have a PS3 and are into Blu-ray, like me, you might want to pick up Batman Begins on blu-ray, because the first 6 minutes of the movie (the bank hesit) is on there in 1080p, all shot in imax.

:D
