System failures, for me, have been going on ever since the PS1 :? my ps2 broke also, my og xbox is a tank, it's still kicking, and of course my 360 (aforementioned) 4 times returned.

What Breakman says is parallel to my thoughts;
one day, as I turned on my 360 and getting a nice black screen,
controller is blinking a morse code of green lights
and the console just "whirring" away, taking a dump I'm sure.
And me thinking to myself "why can't systems just work?"
All I want to do is relax, play my game and have fun.

But I guess that is the price one must pay for progress.

Anyways Richie! shout out to Lewis Hamilton and his win at Monaco!!
that was a huge deal! and oh yeah! how about that Max Mosley  =D>

The only console I ever had fail on me was my first n64. my second n64 is still kicking, but just barely. I still have to blow on certain cartridges, but I guess even that's not a good thing to do.

I had a PS2 fail on me, and a 360. Other than that I've never had a system fail. And I've had a console since the NES. I'm seriously considering buying a PS3. I need to save some money though. But I wanna play MGS4, and Killzone 2.

Yeah, JerRyu, McLaren really needed that win. But have you seen the Canada race? Shit was BANANAS; go watch if you haven't yet.

About Mosley, I'm pretty much neutral. A lot of the changes he's brought about recently - slicks, aero restrictions, banning traction control - have really helped the sport. I couldn't give a fuck less what the guy does in his off time, as long as the sport doesn't suffer for it.

No, I haven't seen the Canada race.

Back to Mosley; I feel that anyone can do whatever they want to do with their personal life; but what I find hilarious is the fact that the ONLY part, that other people have a problem with, is the part having to do with the "Nazi overtones"... otherwise it would have been perfectly cool and nobody would have given it a second thought.
But yeah, as long as the sport is not affected and in fact he is improving the sport then yeah, Rock on Mosley, Rock F-ing ON!

I think we're just out of the loop on this one. :?

So WFB, did you see that Whiteboarding event at Cannes the other night? They were pulling off some wild quiggleys, man! You'd think their crankman would have decided to baseblock with a 13" set, but he owned those 14"-ers. Shit was bananas.

Cliffnotes on about racing jargon:

Mosley: Max Mosley, president of the FIA (governing body for Formula 1) was caught on tape with a bunch of hookers in a Nazi-themed sex orgy. I couldn't make this shit up if I tried. A recent vote of confidence means he gets to keep his job for now, but a lot of the F1 industry wouldn't even answer his calls for awhile.

Slicks: Slick tires, as opposed to the grooved tires currently mandated in F1. No grooves -> more rubber on the road -> more grip -> faster racing :)

Aero restrictions: As it is, overtaking on track is difficult in F1 because todays cars are SO dependent on aerodynamic wings/winglets/foils/ect. New regulations would cut down on the amount of dependence on aero aids, (hopefully) promoting overtaking. :)

No traction control: Self-explanatory. Instead of a driver flooring it out of a hairpin and letting the computer sort it out, now the only traction control is the drivers right foot. :D

I started a thread in the anything segment, so anyone that wants to talk about quiggleys, crankmans and baseblocks can join in. 8)

I'm not so much into the crankman aspects of Whiteboarding, I've always been most interested in the jimjee spliffknockers.

But I'll save it for the thread, so we can stop being off-topic...
