Now that I've got some holiday cash in my pockets, I'm going nuts for Wii stuff. I need more software.
Guilty Gear was gotten last night, so far, pretty well translated, I was afraid a button heavy 2-d fighter wouldn't work out, but implementing the D-Pad as 4 attack buttons turned out very well.
More on that as I continue to burn through my collection's newest gem.
On a related topic, I"ve got $36 at Best Buy and $50 at Walmart that I'm unsure how to invest. Fire Emblem? Lego Star Wars? Both Resident Evil Games?
Current thought is Guitar Hero 3, which I'll be unable to afford otherwise ever, and saving the second one for Brawl in (fingers crossed) February. Anyone actually played Umbrella Chronicles yet? Any other worthy titles that've slipped under my radar? Wii games = virtually no press. I'm constantly surprised by titles popping up at rentals and in my Amazon searches.
... I should really, ya know, start getting a catalogue of reviews up for those, or something...

I've got Umbrealla Chronicles, and I can only recommend it to die-hard Resident Evil fans. The gameplay, graphics...everything is just 'meh'. You only really stick with it for the story bits. Mark it as a rental.
Have you played Resident Evil 4? If you haven't, you must. The Wii version is excellent, but the GameCube version can be had for much cheaper.
I also just beat Super Paper Mario, and I can recommend that to just about anyone. The story can be predictable, and the dialogue can be irritating, but it'll all be worth it the first time you flip from 2D to 3D.
