I try to connect to Steam and it comes up with the message "We could not connect your because you're not currently connected to the internet."
...I'm posting this as I just recently tried again and again to connect. This internet is FUCKING HORRIBLE
Godamn thing keeps losing connections with the DNS server, so every once in awhile I have to restart my PC. Does the same thing for the 360, only difference is that I don't have to restart it because for some reason, it can find the DNS server after about a second.
Tell me why these dumbasses think it's necessary to have their own ISP when they obviously can't run it worth a godamn....AND THESE GODAMN CROWS ARE EVERYWHERE, FRIGGIN TWO OF EM OUTSIDE MY WINDOW GOING AT IT! WHERE THE HELL IS DICK CHENEY, scratch that, he'd just shoot me by accident.
Not a happy sob right now

School ISPs like to do that to prevent "noneducational activity" from occurring. Never mind the fact that Video Games can be educational depending on your field of study. I used to work for KUs service here, and I'd try to get work-arounds for kids because I thought it was just ridiculous. One thing you CAN do is call the office of your net service and say that you need to use Steam of Xbox Live or whatever for a class project. They usually are more helpful then.
