Unreal 2 - dayamn!

Ok, I don't know if this game has been mentioned on the show much, but I just bought it, and I'm totally hooked. I know, I'm a little behind the times, but I didn't have a pc that would run this kinda game back when it came out. Some critics didn't like it, but they've just got a pineapple up their ass. PINE. APPLE. IN THEIR ANUS. Unreal 2 rocks.

-gorgeous, drop-fucking-dead gorgeous. best graphics i've ever seen on my computer.

-awesome music and sound effects

-great characters. better than most shooters, in the fact that you actually like the characters instead of just using them to blow the enemy to hell.

-slick. the whole game is very well made. the weapons, interface, hud, etc, are a joy to use.

-the plot is great. granted, i'm not finished with it yet, but so far it plays like a freakin' movie. the whole game does, it's really cool.

-control is perfect. what do you expect from mouse-and-keyboard? w,s,a,d baby! left button primary, right button seconday! simple, but very effective.

-Nothing like putting a big, bloodthirsty Skaarj in his place to start the day off right!

*UPDATE*

I just finished Unreal 2. It was fun, I'll probably go back through it again. Yes, it was too short. The plot was meaningful, but it could have had so much more meat to it, there were so many other things they could have tied into. It was funny at times too. The critics were right about one thing though: it was short. But, i enjoyed every minute of it, and with the multiplayer patch coming out soon, its replayability factor will (hopefully) skyrocket. If I had to give it a score, I'd say 8/10.
