Yes, the website that is synonymous with stuff we potentially couldn't find anywhere else as well as the biggest trap in the world. Sitting in Business Management today my teacher thought it would be funny to check out how the PS3 was fairing in the land of E. I think its safe to say that we were all a bit surprised when we saw one of the consoles going for 9,000 USD with about one minute left on the bid. Then my teacher went ahead and clicked on the bid only to find that in the few seconds before the bid ended it went from 9,000 to 14,000.

It was mind-boggling to even think about what would posses a human to
go ahead and do something like this. I mean the bid started at 10 USD,
yeah you would think that it would end around 1,500 or 2,000 USD like
you will find right about now on ebay. But 14,000 dollars? I mean if I
had that kind of money I wouldn't blow it on a system that I could get
in a few months for not even 1,000 dollars. You make the call, the
first thing that goes through my mind is complete lunacy, nothing you
could say would justify that move.

For those of you that got a PS3, what do you think? Would you have
gotten it for that price? You may think its a stupid question but what
I saw, I will never forget. You have to give the seller some
recognition for it though. He is up around 13,500 USD and when the PS3
stock comes back and it is easier to purchase, he can just go ahead and
buy another. FOR FREE. I shake my head in awe. "The internet, serious
business.".
