Now, I must preface by saying that I am a bit disappointed overall with the improvement from 1 to 2, but beyond that I am very happy with the game.
Top Spin 1 was a great iteration of tennis, and Top Spin 2 only improves upon that. The graphics are better, the sound is much better, and most notably; the gameplay is immensely better.
I’d been warming up on Virtua Tennis, which was definitely a mistake as it got me used to the arcade ranks again. Top Spin is much more simulation based and a much more skilled based game. If this sounds what you’d like, give it a try. Throw in the career mode, and you really have a deep game.
