Hey guys, hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving, I know I did. Hopefully you all also used the BreakmanX.com 2004 Holiday Gift Guide as well yesterday when you all went out to shop for all of your holiday presents for your family and friends who also just happen to love video games. But now that the REAL shopping season has begun, working retail is a crazy place to be, but it's really not that bad. Some of the people in the world just have this switch that goes off in their heads that makes them complete assholes while they're out shopping for presents, but fortunately so far, at least by my experience, they seem to be forgetting where that switch is.
But I do have an ulterior motive for this little post, as the title implies. As I'm sure most of the regular listeners to the show know, my sister plays volleyball for Wichita State University, and I think she's really good. Their conference, the Missouri Valley Conference has their conference tourney this weekend, and Wichita State beat Illinois State last night to advance to the finals of the tournament, and one win away from an automatic bid into the NCAA Tourney. My favor that I have to ask everyone is that if you get either Fox Sports Midwest or Fox Sports Net, that you please watch the finals that are on tonight at 7 PM CST. I guarantee that you'll have a lot of fun watching them play, and there's a really good chance that they will beat Northern Iowa to make it into the NCAA Tournament. So please, if you get a chance, check out Fox Sports Net or Fox Sports Midwest tonight at 7 PM CST to watch my sister kick ass and take names, and also to cheer them on.
