First of all, read the post below this.  It has the latest show for your downloading pleasure.  The DNS is still repopulating so some links are going to be wonky for a couple more days.  As of right now BreakmanX.com works but www.BreakmanX.com doesn't work.. go figure.

We are shooting for a live show this Thursday.   3:30 – 4:30 is the time we are looking at but this time is not set in stone.  Its sure to be a hoot, there may be a holler involved as well but I never speak for him… he's crazy.  There will be some sort of show around Thursday for sure though.  Anyway, you get a new show this week.  I really hope you'll be able to make it live and join in the chat and skype action.  If not.. then the torrent will be up shortly after.

Which brings me to the next point.  It looks like the torrents are going mighty well.  This server is wonderful for database/website action, but cannot quite cut it for downloads.  BitTorrent is really the perfect solution as it allows you guys to share a portion (or all if you are the only one) of the dedicated download server (yes there is a separate server for shows now, even if only one of the shows is on there,) and then you guys help each other out by speeding up everyone's download.  If you leave your BitTorrent window open after the file is done downloading then you help us by "seeding" the torrent.  You are basically acting as another server for us.  if you have a good BitTorrent client then you can set the amount you want to help us too.  That way you can still do anything you want to do while doing it.  5kb/s never hurt anyone, right?  Anyway, there's several people downloading right now, and it makes me happy.  I will make torrents of the rest of the shows as soon as I can.. probably before Saturday.  No promises, though.

I also wanted to say that I was really happy how everyone came back here so fast.  Almost immediately people started coming back to the site and checking out the forums and everything.  Its a nice feeling that we were missed.  Now… log in and post some comments ๐Ÿ™‚

BreakmanX (AKA Matthew Nyquist) founded BreakmanX.com in 2001 after having small video game websites since around 1996. Things really took off in September of 2002 when he started The Game Show with Richie. BreakmanX.com quickly developed a tight knit community of gamers as the crew covered major industry events and interviewed top industry talent. Break later went to the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts to get his MFA in Film and TV Production. He worked in Hollywood for seven years with people like Fred Roos (The Godfather Trilogy, Star Wars) and Dane Davis (The Matrix). He's now gone full circle and returned to Kansas to write and direct a feature film (EyesOpenMovie.com), relaunch The Game Show (BreakmanX.com), and spend his day time hours as an tenured Associate Professor.
