The last few days have been overwhelming in Boston to say the least. As I write this, it is 5:00 AM and I am waiting for a video to load to share with everyone here (stay tuned).

While I’m here, I thought I should chime in on some of the stuff I done so far…

A Pax attendee demos Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D

The first booth I remember checking out in the Expo Hall was the Nintendo booth. Getting another chance to see this beauty in action is always a treat. I ended up playing one of the Augmented Reality games that I played at E3. I haven’t had a chance to play any other 3DS titles because Nintendo’s booth has been a chaotic all weekend.

Super Street Fighter 4 3D in action

From what I can remember, the 3DS games that are being showcased are the previously mentioned Augmented Reality games, Super Street Fighter 4 3D, Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D, Kid Icarus: Uprising, Dead or Alive: Dimensions, Pilot Wings: Resort, Lego Star Wars: Episode III, Nintendogs + Cats, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and Steel Diver. I’m very impressed with the selection Nintendo is showcasing this weekend, and I feel it’s generating quite the buzz.

Not just a guy playing a Gameboy, this is chiptunes master Bit Shifter in mid performance

One of the highlights I’ve experienced so far at PAX East 2011 are the chiptunes shows put on by Boston 8-Bit & MAGfest. The lineup has been fantastic, include the likes of Cathode Ray, Oxygenstar, Active Knowledge, Animal Style, Bit Shifter, AdamGetsAwesome, Zen Albatross, Danimal Cannon, Br1ght Pr1mate, and Smiletron. There’s even more to check out tomorrow. I’m super psyched to check out Glomag.

Our friend Stemage rocking out as Metroid Metal

Thank you and good night!
