“Halo 4” was jam packed, but I was able to get in and got to give multiplayer a try. It has changed a lot and yet it still feels like “Halo.” Old favorites like Ghosts and Warthogs return, but 343 is also putting in load out screens where you are able to customize five different classes and purchase more if you choose to do so, which changes gameplay immensely. Today I got to watch gameplay of “Call of Duty Black Ops II” and this is a phenomenal game. There are so many new things that make this like nothing Activision has even done before. I was particularly impressed when I heard about the new “Strike Force” levels. These pop up through the campaign and allow you to become and control any person, drone or vehicle in the mission. I checked out “Darksiders II” on the floor today, and overall I thought it was a huge step up from the first. The gameplay was super smooth and very fast, the quickstart menu was a lot easier to access, and there was more overall customizations. Plus, you get to play as a Nephilim, which is one of the most powerful species in mankind. Don’t get me wrong though, they still haven’t perfected it yet. The camera work was sloppy. What’s going on gamers! Mitch here, the cripple, just got into Los Angeles for the first time and it was exactly what I expected, CROWDED. It’s a beautiful city with the most flawless weather.
