:!: Good call for them to use DX 8.1 instead of 9. Any developer talking up physics makes me drool, simply because that's what turns me off of almost every FPS...a lack of physics.

No ctf? wtf? :x

I'll try it when I get home. :)

Yes, after playing the demo, I can safely say, I want to be Heaven's hitman....

...only if I get the ultra-cool stake-launcher that the hero gets :)

and oh yeah, the demo rawks.

Wow! This is my first PC FPS that I liked immediately. The physics models are uber-complex and very impressive. The levels layouts are massive, if a bit uninspired, but reall nice.

Each of the five weapons really impressed me. They all had personality! And moving random objects that actually react like they're supposed to? COOL

Oh and I downloaded Far Cry, too. It's good, but I didn't like it as much.

Stake gun rules all. Coupled with the awesome physics, the Stake gun is the cooled thing since... fuck...since the rocket launcher!

Alrighty, first impression: DAMN!

First couple of levels are awesome, physics are great. I find it entertaining to vary shot placement on the enemies, just to watch the different death physics take affect. Feet, head, crotch, chest, arms, ect. Point-blank with a shotgun, man they fly! Graphics are great. Gameplay is great-fast, frenzied. By the end of a level the same enemies are starting to feel a little repetitive, but not too bad. Controls are great, W-A-S-D owns all. Your character moves at a comfortable speed. The game is built to be run-and-gun from the ground up, they don't even give you a crouch button! I think that's awesome, just don't even give players the option to be pussies. Only problem is: this game is going to ruin my Battlefield discipline. So I'll just have to maintain a nice balance between the two games, then neither will suffer. My UT playing time may take a hard hit though. Bah. But hey, if you want a nice, dark, brand new shooter, pick up Painkiller.
