Favorite LOTR Character

Allright, so I was wondering which character you guys like the most from Lord of the Rings. Include examples from the movie and/or books if you'd like. This also could include bitching about the movies or what the movies lacked, iyo. Anything goes.
My personal favorite is Aragorn, although I like so many of the characters it's hard to pick just one. I like Aragorn because I think that he has a power and presence in the book and movie that noone else has. When he speaks, others listen. He's an amazing ranger and the storyline of him finally accepting who he is and ascending to the throne is something that appeals to me. We all have personal demons that we have to accept as part of ourself. And when it comes down to it, who'd want to be pristine in an all-good sense anyways? We need a balance in our lives that too many miss because they're so focused on one side or the other. Life and situations are not as simple as a yes or no.
Aragorn is honorable, kind, strong-willed, and a kick ass fighter. And courageous. I only wish more people had the power of mind to act as he does in life instead of skulking around in a mental miasma of self-pity, and instead did something to figure out themselves and the situation at hand.
Aragorn's Poem
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all those who wander are lost.
The old that is strong does not whither.
Deep roots are not reached by the frost.
From the ashes a fire will be woken,
A light from the shadows shall spring.
Renewed shall be blade that was broken.
The crownless again shall be king.
