man they cannot seem to get the villians costumes right. i wonder who the next villian is going to be. i'm hoping either venum, or the sandman.

Personally I would like to see Carnage as the next villian. Bu if you have Carnage, you have to Have Venom so maybe they can do both. . .

Is Kirsten Dunst in the next movie? That's all I really wanna know...
I refuse to pull down that movie over dial-up, no matter how awesome it may be. That and, I like to be surprised...

as far as carnage, you can't have carnage till the movie after the one with venom, else it wouldn't make sense. where would the back story be? these movies should attempt to really rebuild the comic-movie link. so they should be stop on, imo.

The problem with a lot of the good villians is that they have storylines dating back to the interspace wars, so they'd have to explain ALL of that and so on. What a bitch.

i think they could work around that. i mean green goblin had a better and longer back story then in the movie but it still worked.

I was so glad they picked Willem Defoe for that part. I love his characterization. I'm a Defore fan, especially in Boondock Saints - but that's a whole other post right?

All I can say is... DAMN!
That beginning scene, Kirstin reminded me of a psycho ex-girlfriend though. Looks like nice special effects and good acting. I never got into the spiderman comic books so I am not sure about what series would be better or worse to make into a movie, but it looks pretty interesting.
Looks like something I might have to go see.

hey i'll take Doc Ock's costume over that atrocity that Halle Berry is wearing.
tight bright colored spandex won't work in movies, it's best to simplify things. Imagine if the Xmen wore their Claremont-era costumes in X2...

true they suck at costumes, but one question, do you mean "the next one" as in Spiderman 2 or 3?
