Guitar Hero World Tour

Post by BreakmanX »

So, Tool is in this game. We all know that. Obviously these short fragmented sentences mean that I, too, will be purchasing this game at some point.

Does anyone else have it and for what system? I wanna do some online jammin'.

I'll probably be Gameflyin' it as soon as I beat the Tour mode of RB2.

I've played the game, and I do intend on getting it for the Wii, and since I haven't purchased a GH game for the Wii yet, I am going to be getting a new guitar, which means I am definitely getting the slide bar guitar, which I am super excited to get more hands-on with after my two incidents playing with it.

Guitar Hero World Tour is probably my favorite over Rock Band 2 right now, mostly due to the fact that Guitar Hero implemented many more new gameplay ideas than Rock Band 2 did. MANY more. I won't get into the details since most of you can find them out on your own if you don't already know, but I feel much more like I'm playing guitar with all the new possibilities opened up with the slide bar. The Wah feature I really like too, although that gives less of a feeling of playing, aside from giving the feeling of possibly performing a vibrato/note bend, despite it not really sounding like that and having much more control over it.

I won't get into it anymore, since there wasn't a reason for me to get into it in the first place. Just count on me getting the game for Wii, seeing as I still lack a 360 of any sort.

Give me the ability to pick and choose the songs off of each new disk release. Now that I have two guitars, I don't need to buy another bundle (new guitar works great, very solid), and there are a number of songs I might have left behind from World Tour..... thanks, activision, for making me purchase Antisocial and Spiderwebs again.

Break, I got mine on PS3, if you feel like jammin'. The TOOL stage is amazing. A true labor of love.
