Doesn't even have to be a remake, just a sequel. Seriously, this was probably the best space combat shooter ever made, even better than the Rogue Squadron series.

LucasArts, you've done so many worse things with the Star Wars license. Just give this a try, please.

I loved the originals even more, especially Tie Fighter.

Couldn't find Tie Fighter, but I did find X vs. T.

Installed it on XP, and ran without a single glitch. God, I love this game.
