I'm mostly a soundtrack junky: movies, video game, etc.

I only have a few favorite bands that I like:
STYX
Smash Mouth
FranzFerdinand

But after searching for a song that I really liked called "I walk Alone"

I now think Green Day is awesome I'm a little behind in the times, but it's never too late to try something new.

If you have any other sugestions just post them here.

One thing though...I do not like rap, but thats it.

Kinda hard to recommend you music since everyone here has different preferences. Although that's a good thing since you'll probably find something that you like that you never would've come across unless we told you

I'd recommend Nine Inch Nails for starters.

I'm liking The Decemberists more and more...
