One LAST chance to downgrade PSP

Well, I guess this is it.
I was about to load up Crises Core until I saw that it would upgrade me to 3.75.
So, I'm going to go rent Liberty City Stories and try out the downgrade exploit so that I can run homebrew as well as play Crises Core on my laptop monitor without spending 40 bucks on a damned gimmick of a device.
No way in hell am I locking myself out of it just to play Crises Core.
I'm thinking of just taking my laptop and PSP with me, renting GTA, exploiting it, and then returning it in the next 5-10 minutes. Be like "Thanks, now can I have Crises Core back?"
