I don't have time to write a parody rant this time, so I'll just post the poll of what game you guys want to play this Friday night. Also, if you're more interested in Saturday, say so here. Also, note there's an option to suggest other titles, and you do have the option to change your vote at a later date.

I think doing so would pretty much ensure that you have fun playing UT3 by yourself on Friday.

You will buy UT3. Resistance is futile.

I actually probably will one day, when I can afford it. I've always liked the UT series (except for UT2K, I think it's the weakest one... and then the entire Unreal Championship series... bleh). But I really can't afford that kind of expense right now, especially for one game.
Incidentally, I would have played UT3 on the PS3 this weekend if it had had split-screen multiplayer. I guess that is a dying feature anyway. They are readying some technology for TVs that can actually display two separate images when viewed from different angles, so here's to hoping that makes single-screen multiplayer a greater reality in the future.

It's a good concept on paper...but you know, when you think about it, there's a lot of issues that could pop up when trying to implement that idea.

God I love Unreal Tournament. I enjoy UT3 to no end. I will admit though, that on the ps3, the aiming will take getting used to. They made the game with PC mouse controls in mind. By the way there's a *FREE* UT3 map pack up on the playstation store! I. MUST. HAVE. THAT!
Seriously, what other game ( on consoles ) has free map packs and mod content?
CONGRATULATIONS TO WIIZER ON HIS 1337 POST COUNT! NOW HE WILL NEVER POST AGAIN!

They actually have working models of these. They're just working on getting it ready for mass production.

It'll be interesting for multiple things.
Could you imagine a movie theater with one screen where you pay for the glasses to decipher different movies? xD

Doesn't mean there aren't still a ton of issues

OpenArena is sort of a UT99/Quake clone for Linux Users. It even ran on my old crappy laptop. It still doesn't have that UT style and feel though. I guess it's ok if not enough people still have their Unreal Tournament CD's. I'm surprised my Unreal Tournament CD's have survived through 9 years ( longer than any Xbox 360 ), given how scratched up it is.

Um... OpenArena is pretty much ripped straight from Quake III Arena, just with added maps and different characters.
