I might suggest OpenArena actually. It's free and it's based off of the Quake III engine. If not, UT sounds good to me. I say we do one this Friday. Yes, there is LAN party but it'll still be 3 weeks off by that point.

Whatever's free. I'm in college, and because of that, anything that costs money is off limits.

I guess I'll have to wait 9 years before anyone will actually be willing to play UT3.

This collage kid bought a laptop with only a mid-range (at the time... now might even be considered low-end) graphics card using money leftover from a scholarship (read: not that much...) that runs UT3 at near full speed at top specs. The game will run on bloody well any discrete graphics card these days (NV 6200 is in the minimum specs FFS).

Oh, there was one other thing I forgot.

OpenArena doesn't sound bad, since we had some players last time that had trouble with UT running correctly. Either way, I'm down.
