So Smash Bros is out now and Tholomyes and I have been enjoying it since Sunday. There's just one problem. We can't figure out how to unlock more Events. We've beaten 1-20 on Normal and nothing happens. Any ideas?

I did that and got a message that said I beat all single player events...I don't think that's all there is though. You might want to try unlocking all the characters first. That might help you get more events.

Cool, we'll try that. Also, I seem to recall them saying that there'd be daily custom-made stages available. Does anyone know how to access those?

I JUST got my first one. My conclusions are either:

1) You need to register at least one friend first to receive the stage
2) They hadn't set the system up so stages would come here to the U.S. until today.

Err... There was stuff yesterday. You have to actually connect to wi-fi in the game in order to get the stuff.

I heard you can share screenshots. Can this be done without a memory card or would I need one? It's no big deal, I'm just wondering so I don't waste my time trying :P

Weird...I did that yesterday and got nothing.

Oh yeah, sorry I turned you away in a match. Accident. Didn't know who you were heh...

If you still aren't getting the daily stuff there is something major I forgot, you first need to go onto wifi and go to options and select to accept the smash service.

I did that the first day. I didn't get my stuff till 2 days ago. I've been receiving the online content since then, however.

I can't wait to use Lucario's super move.

If it's like that Pokemon game with the preset online phrases, then I'll make one that is like "IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZER!" And I'll use it every time I use his attack xD

Guys, I think there's a slim chance I won't be able to play with you. My Wii doesn't like my Dongle, and neither does my desktop. I plugged the Dongle into my desktop and the Dongle emits a signal, but the Wii, after a long while, decided it didn't like what the Dongle was putting out and suddenly closed itself off. That or there's a really really really bad thing with the Dongle's signal and it just simply isn't reaching the Wii.

I'll either have to configure my Wii or my Dongle and have to possibly reinstall the Dongle software.

Godamn wireless bullshit is pissing me right the fuck off, man.

I'll also have to find my old gamecube controller. I planned ahead a long time ago during the beginning of Christmas break and got my Gamecube controller down so that I could use it when SSBB came out and I wouldn't have to waste time looking for it.

My only concern now is that my mom decided to put it back up in the attic.

So, if everything goes well.......I KILL YOU! w/ Sonic.

You do get preset online phrases, but you have to taunt to use them. You can make up to 4 and you push one of the directions on the D-pad to choose which one. Problem is, this leaves you vulnerable for a few seconds on most taunts.

Also, Sonic will take an incredibely long amount of time to unlock. There's only 3 characters more tedious than Sonic. Wolf, Jigglypuff, and Toon Link. Why is Jigglypuff so tedious? I don't know! Jigglypuff was my first unlock in the last 2 games.

SSE took me like 9 or 10 hours to complete on Hard btw. That's the quick way to go about unlocking Wolf, Toon Link, and Jigglypuff. The quickest way to unlock Sonic can vary.

Also, I'd like to give Sakurai credit on massively improving the AI in Brawl. A lvl 9 computer is actually pretty hard to fight now. I can still stomp their ass though (depending on which character I use of cours). Thing is that it's actually a decent challenge now.

I'm trying to enjoy this game, I really am, but the unresponsive controls are just a pain in the ass.

Maybe I just suck, but I can never pull off any of the moves I want to. So far, based on this, the game is severely overrated in my book. Maybe it will get better if I can figure these damn controls out.

Mecha, the controls are REALLY responsive. Especially offline. The only incidents I have with unresponsive controls is when the game's lagging.

I don't think you've noticed that there's lag before or after every attack, and sometimes before AND after to balance the game out. It's pretty heavy on some (i.e. Falcon PUUUUUUNCH!), and fairly low on other (i.e. Pikachu's standard-A attack or Mario/Luigi's up-B attack, which is instant). It's extremely varied. The controls are only unresponsve when you're lagging online though...Otherwise they're some of the most responsive controls I've ever had.

the only unresponsiveness i dealt with was the ridiculous controls of the Subspace mode. Jumping is horrible.
