I found this free online LEGAL NES Emulator on facebook, and guess what? It...runs...in...JAVA (dun dun dun)

This means that it runs slow as an R Tard on an MMORPG who hasn't found the run button yet. The only way to get it to run quickly is to turn the sound off.

And yeah, I know, "Well, Gosh, who would suspect that you'd have to PAY for good quality games?" The thing that pisses me off is that it's there...and it right THERE...and it sucks.

There's no reason a NES emulator can't run as well in Java as in C++; either the programmer really didn't know what they were doing in making the emulator (java program on facebook... sounds like a beginner's project to me) or your PC really fucking sucks.

I think the real question here is why the hell would you use a NES emulator ON facebook?

And trust me, it was definitely because it was a shitty java programmer. My PC can handle Crysis on lowest settings to an extent. It can sure as hell handle a java NES app :/
