is anyone going to see this besides me? i can't get anyone to go with me so screw it, i'll just be frightened on my own :)

I think the promos are doing an excellent job of making this look as scary as possible, and the narrator saying that it's "inspired by a true story" makes it even more scary. which is good, i'm tired of the TOO HIP to be scared by scary movies-type movies like Scream. this is old school horror. People are gonna get frightened and asses are gonna get kicked.

I think and even scarier movie that's coming out is that new Cuba Gooding Jr movie, Radio. I don't know, it just looks like utter crap. I feel sypathetic for Cuba though, because ever since his Academy Award for Jerry Maguire, his career's been going down hill. There was that one where he was a sled racer and had a bunch of sled dogs and stuff, that was dumb. I think he's done a few decent films, but it just seems like he keeps choosing to do dumb projects to do.

Instict was good, mostly because of Anthony Hopkins, though Cuba held his own. The one where he was the navy diver was good too, with Robert DeNiro. But I agree with ya, I think Cuba has a lot of talent that he's not putting to use.

seeing Jessica Biel run around with that shirt on all movie made even the sillier parts worthwhile. not as good as Kill Bill by a long shot, but it was watchable.
