Cloverfield

Game sighting in a movie? Saw something on the screen other than a game? Weird, let us know.

Yesh, looks interesting. It was a topic of much discussion a few months ago at work. The premise is perhaps not as ambitious as I'd like, but the execution looks good enough to merit a ticket. :)

Definitely looking forward to this. It's cool, the way this movie is filmed. I'm sure i'll see some familiar places in here too.

Some people thought this was the Voltron movie xD

Yeah, that would be a twist, wouldn't it? First it's like some HP Lovecraft shit and then suddenly BAM the people being filmed jump into a giant robot that fuses together from five lions and busts ass.

Sounds like some M Night Shamalan shit...

I'm very fucking eager for the movie. That is all that can be said. Personally I think I'm just curious to see what it's about more than anything, which is the whole point to the advertisements. Kinda worries me that the movie's gonna be a lot worse than I'm expecting...but then It just leaves me to believe these are clever bastards and that it'll be amazing...then it worries me again...

Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if it gets over-hyped and turns out bad, but I hope not. Have you watched the slow motion trailers and what not? Monster looks like Godzilla

I have not seen the slow-motion trailers. And I can see how someone would think it's a Godzilla movie...but eh...Once you see the title and the interesting point of view as well as the general story the movie's following you can't really think it's Godzilla...

Still a hell of a lot better than thinking it'd be a Voltron movie lol

A POV style Documentary-type monster movie set in recognizable New York sets, with some decent CG. I can't wait.
