You have to see this thing in action:

It's a portable PC. No it's not one of those Pocket PC phones, this is one of those tablet PCs, only slightly smaller. it runs Windows Vista Ultimate Premium, and it has ALL the functionality of a PC. ( there's a video on youtube of a dude playing World of Warcraft on it ). I looked at this video, and I immediately wanted it... Not to mention it beats the crap out of my computers specs... The only downside is:............................................

$1299

But besides that, man oh man technology is really taking huge leaps forward.

Now if they can just take a LITTTTTTTLE more fat off the thing, and make a smaller version with the screen size about a little larger than a PSP's, AND cut down the price... it would sell me over a laptop, PSP or DS anyday, since it's basically a PC and has far more gaming options.

Hm...So it could be called a Pocket PC?

And for the record...doesn't Pocket PC sound like Pocket Pussy?

Great...Can't wait to see the guy out in public that mixes those 2 up...It'll be quite funny seeing him hurt himself because he didn't realize the names only sounded similar...

if you call this a Pocket PC, you would most likely confuse it with those windows mobile phones. besides, I'm not sure this would fit in your average pair of Lee Jeans. But still, it's the smallest Fully-featured PC out there. I'm sure they could make a smaller one sometime soon too.

Soon, PCs will be as small as your thumb nail and all the information will be relayed through portable keyboards and goggles and shit.

I dunno about them being as small as your thumbnail, but I wouldn't doubt the info being relayed through portable keyboards and goggles...

Nano-technology isn't advancing super fast contrary to popular belief.

Heheh, remember the equation for the advancement of computers :P

I'm not aware of the equation actually lol...

But I do know that there's a lot of issues with nano-technolgy. Simple fact is that it takes a long time to put it together and it's too small for us to program the large majority of robots to correctly piece the parts together and then it's difficult to put these pieces together in a functioning piece of technology since we don't have extremely accessible technology that can put this together either. It's very expensive to get robots that can put things together so precisely, and VERY hard to put these together by hand if not impossible.

It's a road block that I doubt is really factored into the equation since it already has its own variables. It'll probably delay the process a number of years. I'm not a professional so I won't even attempt to estimate this number, but it will be quite some time before we get any computers as small as our thumb since it's REALLY hard to make tech that small.

Never know :P

I'm sure they already have a set of Ipod super nanos in Area 51 xD

Holds 50gb of data and needs a microscope to operate xD
