Have I stepped on any toes here?

I only ask because it seems like some of my posts get ignored around here. Y'all are a bunch of cool posters, which is why I stick around. That and the fact that I get to lawrence from time to time, meaning we can get games in with each other once in a while.
I know I haven't read the rules list, so maybe I've said some things you guys just want to steer clear of. I know this board is relatively slow, but when people aren't even hitting you up, like when do you guys play live? Or no feedback on getting some SC2 coverage on the show in regards to how big of a game it really is. I know it's not new or up and coming anymore, but still.
For real tho, if I've said or done anything to make some of you just shy away from my posts, I sincerely apologize.

No man, you're fine....I'm just really busy at this point in time, and usually I just don't have time to post back...I really haven't been playing much Soul Calibur 2 lately, though I know that there is going to be a league forming at NVGL here in the next month or so....we'll see what comes up.....but man, you're always welcome to post here on the boards, and sometimes things just go unnoticed. I try to reply whenever someone makes a post, but there are some times when I just don't have the time.
Between homework, playing games, working at my job, and spending time with my girlfriend, I have a hard time staying up-to-date on the message boards. But believe me man, you're always welcome to post here, and a lot of us like hearing your opinions on everything.
I know I'll be on XBL a LOT once Crimson Skies comes out next week...believe me...also, PM me if you want to get some gaming going online....I'll check my box every now and then, but this week is going to be incredibly scarce on the gaming for me, mainly because of all the midterms and other crap I have to do. Next week, though...is a completely different story...I'm gonna be all over Live.

Sorry man, we're really glad to have you. Absolutely no toe-stepping in progress.
Case in point, the site is going through a transitional period. We had a meeting, and I've kinda given out different projects. Basically we are all really busy. But, this does not mean we shouldn't have had time to answer. For that, I am sorry. As for live, I don't really have a set time, just whenever I can. If you ever want to meet up and play a game, send me a PM and I'll get on then.

Sounds good to me. I was just hoping I hadn't messed something up here or said something I shouldn't have said.
As for Live, I think Topspin will suck me into Live more than any other game until Halo 2 arrives, but Crimson Skies also looks pretty awesome. I'll wait for Jacks verdict on that one.

I need to get Live too sometime. Since I have an Xbox and a broadband connection, there's really no excuse for not having it. When I get Top Spin Tennis, there will REALLY be no excuse. When it's Christmas break, then there will really really absolutely be no excuse at all for not having Xbox Live. Hopefully I'll be there soon.

naw Web, you're cool! glad to have ya. i always enjoy reading your posts. i don't reply much cause often your posts are about stuff i'm not very familiar with (SC2, XboxLive, etc.). but don't think for a second that you're being ignored.

Sam, I think the price goes up to $69.99 on wednesday.
But for that extra price, you do get the full version of mechassault for free as well.

Dang, do I buy a $50 version now, or wait and pay 70 for it later. Mechassault is pretty cool tho, so basically it's like paying 50 for live and 20 for mechassault. Hmm..... 50 now or 70 later with another game. Don't know how much I'll play mechassault tho, as cool as it is. I may go with the 50 dollar one.

Well, supposedly, later this week or at least, before november 15th, there are going to be subscription cards that you'll be able to pick up at EB and then put them into your xbox live subscription stuff to keep your subscription going...either that, or you can go into the credit card information section in your xbox and manually configure it for another year there. The card will be $49.99 and it comes with a bag for the communicator, since it's assumed that you already have one. Only the new live kits will be $69.99.

Always in the know! Thanks again Jack. I can swing that 50 later on then, although another headset might be cool, if I had someone who'd play online with me.
