Tetsuya Mizuguchi is leaving Sega, thanks to his studio, UGA, being shoved together with Sonic Team. The new studio is intended to produce more "mainstream" games for Sega, but given Mizuguchi's track record of games like Rez and Space Channel 5, it's no surprise that he would take exception to such a restriction. This pretty much leaves Yuji Naka in charge, doesn't it?
The question now is: what's next for the videogame visionary? Thankfully, he intends to form his own production company with all the creative freedom he wants, so hopefully, we can look forward to more games straight from the genius' brain with none of Sega's console-release restrictions. Maybe we'll even see another game with a vibrator...

So where is Tetsuya Mizuguchi now? Did he start a new company?
