Creepy Bedtime noises

Whenever I sleep facing the left side of my bed (towards the wall) I always hear some weird scraping or bumping noise or a crack that makes me want to turn the fuck around and stay facing the direction where I can see everything. I have a feeling that either:
a.) There's some spirit or something watching me at night
b.) Someone is trying to sneak into my room and can tell when I'm not looking.
c.) my fucking dog is scratching or bumping my door.
d.) What if AMY LEE is making the noises?

e.) What if some ghost is trying to RICK ROLL you?

Do what I do. Don't sleep unless you know someone you know will be inside your home and awake. Comforts the hell out of you, but it kind of hurts your schedule a bit unless you want to miss out on sleeping at all.

Well, unless the noise is really fucking loud, than who cares. Just go to sleep. A ghost isn't going to stab you in the face while you sleep.

Noises always seem louder at night when all the other daytime background noises have ceased. If you're really creeped out get a night light.

that's exactly what they want you to think!!!!
but seriously, that scratching in the wall could be anything from bugs or rodents to possibly just something on the opposite side scraping. Sounds travel better through solid objects.
(trying to make you feel better)

heh, I don't really have this problem any more, although occasionally I hear water travelling through pipes in the wall. ( i'm next to the bathroom) which only frightened me at first since it sounded like demons whispering or something.
but yeah I still don't sleep facing the wall. I feel more comfortable facing the side where I can see the door. certain people HAVE tried sneaking in before, but for some reason I instantly wake when someone starts entering. but I usually pretend like I'm still asleep, until I see them doing something suspicious like opening my drawers or something. Gives them a good scare.
about ghosts stabbing me in the face, thats actually what I thought would happen back then!

Yeah, well you should have been in my house when I was by myself after 10PM cause both parents had shit to do and they had to take my little sister along.
Fuck, I was asleep, and I heard footsteps in the damn kitchen on the other side of the wall.
Shit, I jumped up, grabbed a small bat, went out there, and when I saw no one, I checked the room (man, I may be scared but I aint stupid, I KNOW what my parents would have done if I stayed in my room while hearing bitches in the house and stuff ended up missing)
Well, I went out into the family room and checked around, turn the light on, etc.
I look out our back glass door and MOTHER FUCKER I see two red eyes REFLECTING in the damn glass like right on the other side of the room and I don't even say nothing but I turn around so fast I almost get whiplash. Turns out, the telephone and the recording device both have those dumbass red numbers on em, and the glass distorted them enough to make em seem round. GOD that scared the piss out of me.
But, yeah, I know sounds are all screwy at night, but I don't care anymore. Ghosts can kiss my ass.

that's how they want you to think, to remove you from the fear that comes with battle situations...

Sleep with headphones on to block out the noise.
If that does not work then pull the blanket over your head because we all know that once you do that it acts like a fucking super forcefield that nothing can penetrate. So when the murderer comes to blow your head off just laugh at him from under your "Forcefield".
