ok I know that this game is out already, but i didn't know if i should get it or not, since i've never really played a ridge racer game. Anway, Ridge Racer 7 demo just came out yesterday. Go get it. It's really fun. The visuals are top-notch. It was kind of hard for me to play at first though because i'm used to Playing games like Gran turismo and Live For Speed. The game is very arcadish ( richie stay the hell away from it

). It's pretty fun though, There is a great sense of speed, and the demo gives you like 7 cars to choose from.

Seems pretty good... I'd still rather play the PSP RR but the one for PS3 does seem pretty slick.

yeah this might be the first time i really get into a ridge racer game. I might buy this game. The only thing is i really dont want to spend 60 dollars on it. I might consider it though. I just wish the demo included as much levels as it did cars >_>. Btw the music in this game is great. i never played ridge racer 6 or any other for that matter so i cant complain about recycled tracks.

I was actually gonna come in here and comment about RR's arcadeyness. And not just kinda arcadey - not Outrun 2 arcadey - but REALLY arcadey. It got old for me after two laps.
