A lot of people were dissapointed, in fact almost half of the Star Wars fanbase. (The poll from theforcenet had it at about 39% dissapointed.) And if you add in the mainstream audience, which by far hated the movie (E! had it somewhere between 60 and 70%,) there is a definite disdain for the movie. I just happened to like it, and therefore state my opinion. Nothing against those who hate it though that would account for 100% of my friends, and I still love them.

5-25-77 is coming out 5-25-07 (http://www.aintitcool.com/node/31615.) And I am also excited for that.

I bet the movie ends with the fanboys leaving the theater disappointed. Then they become Joss Whedon fanboys. Oh wait, that's my story.

Or maybe they leave disappointed, then it fast forwards to them leaving Episode III and they become Star Wars fanboys again.
