FF3 is pretty good. It's easy at some points, hard at others. I've been through 1 tedious dungeon and 1 annoying dungeon. The beginning did feel a bit slow (which will vary in time from person to person), but once you earn the ability to change your characters' jobs, it's pretty fun. You do get an unbelievable amount of freedom once you get past a particular boulder in the game though, which is a definite good thing. I never played the original FF3 (I believe I was still to be conceived when it came out), but I must say this is pretty good regardless. Problem is it was probably made painfully easier than the original FF3.
