I was expecting other people to be playing Gears of War, but no such luck.

I'm still on break, so I'm pretty open. Almost any time is good.

And I plan on picking up GoW after Christmas.

Last night we were all on, but it was the first time I had played the game, so I figured I'd get at least a little experience before teaming up with you guys.

Now I'm actually pretty decent, so I'm ready any time.

Yeah, I was actually just finishing up the single player on realistic, while Atticus fucked with his Vision Camera. I'll hit you up when I'm on again.

Lemee tell ya', if you like this game you are gonna' love Gears of War. Same general gameplay style, but a lot more polished.

I'd have to say I agree. At least if by "same general gameplay style" you mean you point the gun at something and shoot it.

Uh, and the fact that it's a stop-and-pop and not a run-and-gun type of game. In both you can only carry two large weapons and a pistol. In both there is a button devoted to taking cover. In both you can blind-fire while in cover.

I could go on, but the point is made. I'm sure eveyone who has played both games can easily see the similarities.

Just because the games can do similar things does not make them similar. I could make a list of everything simliar between Tales of Symphonia and FF7 but that doesn't make them have similare gameplay.

I'm up for a game of gears with you guys anytime. Just only if it's after 9pm Eastern.

I think you have my GT but if you do im open anytime for some GoW. Ive got some experience with RS Vegas but only from the MP demo. Just hit me up and we can play

Yeah man, anytime I don't have to get up at 5am the next morning I'll play GoW till the wee hours.

I think they're very similar. I mean you got the hide and take cover thing, the health replenishing thing, the gun thing, the grenade thing, the open levels thing (on multiplayer at least), the mainy difference is that in one, you can take much more hits than in the other.

So yeah, they're pretty damn close. I bet if it took less ammo to bring someone down in GoW, it's be just LIKE RS:Vegas
