I only now started watching it (I know, I'm late), and I love it.
It's pretty much the only thing I'm watching regularly these days, besides Mythbusters.
Best live action super hero TV series ever.

I've meant to do a post about it for awhile. EASILY one of the best shows on network TV.
Save the cheerleader - save the world.

What's cool is that all the eps are available to watch at
http://www.nbc.com/Video/rewind/full_ep ... roes.shtml
That's how I got caught up.

Give me a summary of the show. I'm intrigued by it but I'm unsure if it's worthy of my time over trying to see how many episodes of Scrubs I can watch in 1 sitting.
Also, what station is it on?

It's on NBC and SciFi.
The basic idea is that a group of people across the world are all discovering that they have super human abilities. A couple who have precog abilities or can travel through time see that there will be a great disaster in New York City and try to find a way to stop it.
Any more would be spoiling.
The cool thing is there aren't any "Super Heroes". No costumes, no leagues, just ordinary people from all walks of life who just happen to be able to fly or rip people in half with their bare hands.

Wow...
I'm a gaming nerd at a high school. I think we all know my primary goals if I could rip people in half...Damn you, you damn jocks, rednecks, and white trash!

There are enough characters in the show that everyone can fall in love with at least one of them. There's bad guys, good guys, and guys you're not quite sure of.
At first, I passed Heroes off as a 'The 4400' knockoff, but it really is something different.
