I'm not even sure where the SC2 scene is there. I know there's an SC1 machine at the Hollywood Theatres, but where's the nearest arcade with SC2? Anyway, not sure if you guys know about Evo, the biggest fighting game tournament in the world. It just wrapped up a couple weekends ago in Pomona, CA. An Asian guy from France named Dan "The Nightmare" won the SC2 comp, but FetZ and Kegeh weren't in attendance either. In any event, he recieved a lot of praise for his pretty much unstoppable Nightmare. Do you guys follow nationals or gatherings set up by soulcalibur.com? Will you exploit the console scene to make it blow up in Lawrence? Can you get interviews with a few of the top players in the nation? Just my suggestion, let me know how it goes.

I'm sure we'll try to do as much as we can, but man, there's nothing here in Lawrence...not yet anyways... :)

Once the new NVGL opens up here, there will be plenty of tournaments, believe me. And we'll hopefully cover them all--be it interviews with the winners, videos of the event, a video of the final match...whatever you guys want, we'll try and get it to you.

Dang, there's one coming to Lawrence, that's awesome!!!

Would you guys ever try to get in touch with the best guys in the world? Do you know of FetZ, Kegeh, FloE, Dan "The Nightmare"? These guys are the top SC2 players around, but there's a lot all over the nation. Not sure how you'd get a hold of them. How did you get a hold of the Halo guy? Or some developer interviews from Namco. Are you guys that ambitious? I'm sure you are and it's all about resources.

So, do you know about these top SC2 players? They were recently featured in GameNow giving some good strats on about half of the cast, including the console exclusives.

Since NVGL is planning on running SC2 tournaments, do they know about Evolution? It's an annual international fighting game tournament featuring Tekken Tag, T4, Capcom vs SNK 2, Marvel vs Capcom 2, SF3: 3rd Strike, Guilty Gear X2, Super SF2 Turbo, SC2, and VF4Evo. It's big time for fighting game tournaments. You get some great players from around the nation and from other countries. The Koreans seem to have it locked up when it comes to having mad game. The guy who got second at SC2 nationals last year got 3rd in Japan.

You all just seem very resourceful, and your show can touch way more than just the local community. I know I could get a ton of people from the soulcalibur board, soulcalibur2 board, and the guardimpact board. Not to mention people from my New Mexico board and our Hooligans board, just to tune into some legit SC2 coverage with some experts. That's a lot of listeners man. Hopefully you reply to this post! Take it easy!
