While that picture doesn't offend me, and beekz is my freind in real life and a very cool guy... There is a big difference between saying fuck and making fun of retarded people. I don't beleive in bad words, and therefore they are completely appropriate to me and on these forums.

That reminds me, whatever happened to Apollo anyway? Oh, that's right, you bastards scared his ass off. Good going.
In either case, my parents are both special ed teachers, and my dad laughed his ass off when he saw that picture. He knows that anyone who actually has a disability like that will laugh about it just as much as anyone else, so he reasons that anyone who's more offended by it than the people it's supposedly making fun of, is taking it too seriously. So lighten up, eh?

Oh, ok, I guess if Q says it's ok then it prolly is. Since he is the perfect human that we are all trying to model ourselves after. Kind of funny that you already judged that I thought beekz was being in the wrong. I was simply saying that some people would be more offended with the making fun of a retarded person. hell if i know. i just know that many ppl consider them inappropriate, so for the sake of social harmony, i limit my useage. but if you think about it, it's kindof an interesting subject. where do we get the word bitch? a bitch is a female dog. i can only assume that it came from back in the day when a common insult was to call someone a "dog". it's more insulting to call a guy a female dog now isn't it? but now all the sudden, "bitch" becomes a profanity? why isn't it profane to call someone a "cow" or a "hen"? bah, who knows.Break wrote:Why are bad words bad, anyway?

I'm sorry Ru, but perfect or not, Apollo had it coming. He came to a gaming forum, said "fuck PCs", called 95% of the world ignorant, called PC users dumbasses, and put words in the mouths of the Radio Show hosts.
