What, like castles and knights and armor and such?

Give us more info about what you're looking for. :)

Action? Drama? Comedy?

You're pretty much stuck with fantasy dark age anime. I'm fairly sure there aren't any set in realistic dark ages. Hope that's alright.

Ok...

There's Berserk, of course.

Record of Lodoss War is a classic.

Scrapped Princess is sort of midevil, but... also kind of not. I like it.

Rune Soldier Louie is midevil, but mostly comedy. Still had action and some cool moments though.

And again I recommend Twelve Kingdoms, though its style is more asian midevil than european midevil.

There's also a really good manga called "Vinland Saga" set in a realistic midevil europe.

Hmm...

I'll try to come up with more, but that might be all...

Lol...Dragon Pink...oh shit, I'm underage! *shifty eyes*

Well, anyway, I need to know if you're ONLY talking about medieval (that's how it's spelled, btw) times. If you aren't, then making a list of dramatic action-packed animes is pretty easy.

It's widespread enough a spelling that I use it because it makes better phonetic sense.

Then it'd still be at least medievil since the actual way to pronounce it is:

meh-d-ie-vall

(I adaped to ASCII...)
It's commonly mispronounced, like Arkansas.

Exactly. The pronunciation used by 90+% of Americans is "Mid-ee-vuhl".

I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying that it's how everyone pronounces it.

And I think in time it will become an accepted alternate spelling.

It won't...because you're the only person I know who spells it that way.

Anyway, that other 10% is the nerds who go to Renaissance(sp?) festivals and makes SURE no one ever changes the spelling or the official pronunciation.

Uhhh, pretty sure Bible BLack is set in modern times. Don't ask me how I know this.

Anyway, aside from those listed above (Berserk being my fav of that list) I think Elfen Lied might be worth checking out. I have yet to watch it, but hear that it is fantastic.

And, ya know, its got an elf chick. So that's cool.

Elfen Lied is great, I agree.

But it is set in the modern day and has nothing to do with elves (unfortunately).
