Don't get me wrong, I looove KH, but I don't see how they could do a sequel to it... much less 2 sequels! It'd pretty much be the same Disney stuff over again, wouldn't it? Unless they don't use Disney, in which case it would hardly seem to be KH. I'm waiting for more reports on this one to get excited about it.

I believe they said that it would be the opposite of KH. The characters are trapped in the final fantasy world. Not the Disney world. More of a focus on the FF characters than the disney ones. Should be interesting. Im guessing there will be many KH's since Square said it would be one of the pillers of the company. Along with Final Fantasy and Dragon Warrior.

seems like diseny might pitch a fit about diseny characters taking the back seat for an instalment. Hopefully sqare will beat it into their heads that the game would be more awesomer if diseny characters were put in a real world enviornment. Maybe give them the depth of final fantasy.....instead of this is donald duck, he gets frustraigted easily. the franchise could be awesome if if disney would let square take...liberties.

Oh well, anyone seen the KH2 trailer yet? I saw it on X-Play on Tech TV, but you should be able to find it on the net somewhere.

Its awesome.

Its the only trailer as far as I know. Besides the one you get at the end of KH1, that is. Its not the CGI trailer, its made up of in-game cut scenes. It shows lots of new characters. No disney or squaresoft worlds are shown, just original ones like traverse town.[/i]

The current official word is mid-2005.

That makes me a sad panda. (I love that phrase.)

At least we'll have Chain of Memories to tide us over.
