Yeah, I'm really pumped for "Snails On A Sidewalk" too. Maybe they'll get John Travolta to do that one, so they can make more Pulp Fiction stars look cheesy.

I want to see it, that's fo' sure. It is an excellent example of great Hollywood marketing using a popular actor.

Hang on hang on. You guys sound like you don't approve of the concept. Sure, it's an example of an awesome actor in a cheesy bad movie, but don't forget, it's SUPPOSED to be bad. That's the whole point. He was tapped because he's a fan-favorite badass, yes, but given the context for a lot of the movie's content, I would think that it was more because that's what the fans wanted to see, rather than because he's an A-list actor, and anytime Hollywood actually deigns to give the public what they want, that's a good thing.

I think you are extrapolating my statement a little farther than what I originally meant. It is an excellent example of great Hollywood marketing using a popular actor. That is exactly what I meant, and that is what the movie is. Whether that is a good or bad thing to you is a personal perception. I'm curious about the movie. I'm going to wait to judge till I've seen it.

And I STILL agree with Break. I do think the whole thing they did is just funny. It's like, oh, here's Sam Jackson...let's put some snakes on a plane and make him swear a lot, they'll LOVE it!

The internet played a big role in how this movie did at the box office, I mean, I heard about it long before the summer started, and the people that I talked about it with, still all thought this was just some internet joke, so it was pretty well hyped, and did great at the box office.
