Yeah, so I broke down and decided to import Soul Calibur 2 for PS2. "Why PS2?" you may ask. Well, I have an import PS2, plus there are no arcade sticks out for the GC right now, and I don't have a imported xbox. So, for cost and control reasons, I decided to get it for ps2.

It should be here tomorrow, and I'm definitely going to waste hours of my life on this game....anyone up to the challenge can try to beat me, but my Mitsurugi is unstoppable. :D

Since I reply to any and all things Soul Calibur (2) related, I have to at least reply to this one, even if it means I restate what has been said in the GC and PS2 forum.

I wasn't going to wait any longer than I had to for the import, so I had mine shipped out right away, and have been playing since March 31st. No feeling could describe how I felt as I saw UPS pull up to my driveway with that little package. The JPN import has a cool smaller case, a smokey clear case with the SC2 sleeve over it. I went out and got the free loader disk, two dual shock 1 controllers, and the dual shock Nyko playcube adapters. No GC pads for my SC2, no freakin way!!!

Anyway, it's been great getting my practice in, getting aquainted with the upgraded engine. It's still the same but it's not, if you can understand that. Some of the stuff I used to do in SC1 doesn't work anymore or has been altered a bit, but it's still one heck of a game. I play it every chance I get and I'm always looking for new competition.

In fact, I log on to soulcalibur.com and go to the North American Match Finder. I take trips out of state for my work and for personal reasons, so I try to locate the nearest SC2 center and see if people will give me games. I've played people in El Paso and up in Wisconsin. Of course, I have my connections in Lawrence, KS as well, and now that I'm a part of this site, I'll have more people to play whenever I get out there, right Jack?
