He should change his name then, too avoid giving people the impression that he actually LIKES Weezer. :P

I've already played that flash game.

Not that anyone cares...

Yes, I don't really care much for Weezer anymore. Not because they got popular, but because ever since they took a hiatus after their second album, Pinkerton, they've changed and never really been the same since they got back together. Part of it may be due to the fact that their original bassist Matt Sharp left the band. Matt Sharp may have been a intergral part in Weezer's original sound because the other band that he was in, The Rentals, had a very solid first album. When their long awaited third album, commonly known as, "The Green Album", was released, I was happy that they finally released a new album, but was disapointed with the new sound and direction of the band. It was like they were Weezer on the surface, but not in their hearts (I sound retarded). The new Weezer is not Weezer enough for me. To me, the 1991-1997 Weezer is the true Weezer. In the end, the new Weezer is alright, but it's not ultimately something I care that much for, if at all. Again part of it is because of their change, and probably another bigger part is the fact that my musical tastes have changed since middle school. I will listen to Weezer's first two albums maybe bi-annualy and it brings back fond memories.

And for the record, I really could care less about how popular Weezer is or not. What I really care about is if they can ever record another album that is on par with their first two. I would be all over that.

Did you just read all that? I wouldn't have read it.

I read it, I didn't have anything better to do.

I think they're doing slightly better lately. Better than Maladroit at least. "Beverly Hills" needs to be erased from human history though. Especially the video.

If a band was good once I'll always like them. I'll just listen to their good songs.

I would agree that Weezer has been doing better than in years past, but they're still not at the level of their first two albums. The way I see it, it would be very unlikely that they'll ever get back to that level because Weezer's Blue Album and Pinkerton, basically were my adolescent life. I used to listen to those albums religiously. One of the key reasons I started playing guitar in high school was because I wanted to learn how to play Weezer songs. Weezer.com used to be my homepage. Weezer is synonymous with my pubescent life. At times, I look back at it with nostalgia and fond memories. At other times I look back at it in embarassment and try to forget that it ever happened. I look at the old Weezer with fond memories. I look at the new Weezer and sometimes try to forget that they exist (especially Hash Pipe, Beverly Hills, etc.) The old Weezer was a big part of a key time in my life. The new Weezer can never really live up to what they were, at least for myself. I grew up, but Weezer didn't grow up with me. Instead in some aspects, they regressed.

With that all said, there are a few decent tracks off of Make Believe. But I never picked up Make Believe, so I never listen to those tracks. I'm a fan of albums as opposed to singles. I don't usually buy albums for one song that I may like. I would much rather be able listen to the whole album all the way through and not have to skip over the "crappy" songs. I'm a fan of the solid album listening experience.

Yeah dude I already said that I've already played the game. It was fun. I hope they put some Weezer songs in the next version of Guitar Hero.

Ok, ok. :P

I just recently got Guitar Hero, it owns. :)

What would be awesome is if you could upload ANY song into the game and play it. Like Vib Ribbon.

They need to make a set called Band Hero. It should have guitar, bass, drums and vocal mic.
