I wonder how much these women get paid to be sex-symbols for starry-eyed gamers, game reporters, and bald, middle-aged programmers who haven't showered in two weeks? I have always wondered about things in the gaming industry, and have come to the point that, as in every industry, the aming industry revolves around the almighty dollar.
I have come up with three different ideas for the employeement of these "Booth Babes"
a. Many of these women indeed, do love video games, or the men that make the money from them and are there voluntarily.
b. They are actually Las Vegas prostitutes that are paid to act like they know games, sorta like in the movie Pretty Woman, but on a much larger scale
c. They are paid on a pay-scale determined by cup-size.
All of these are viable options, but I think the last one is the most-likely.
